Forex Trading Systems - MQL5 learning examples
Version 1.0, 1 October 2026

These are educational source examples, not a product with verified trading performance.
The source was reviewed against the MQL5 reference. Compilation and MT5 execution
must be checked in your own MetaEditor/terminal; no published backtest or live result
is claimed for this package.

Installation:
1. Open MT5 > File > Open Data Folder.
2. Put FtsClosedBarMAEA.mq5, FtsLifecycleDemo.mq5 and FtsTrailingDemo.mq5
   in MQL5/Experts/FTS-Learning.
3. Put FtsRisk.mqh in the SAME Experts/FTS-Learning folder.
4. Put FtsMADistance.mq5 in MQL5/Indicators/FTS-Learning.
5. Put FtsSymbolDiagnostics.mq5 in MQL5/Scripts/FTS-Learning.
6. Open each .mq5 file in MetaEditor and compile with F7.
7. Test non-trading examples first. Read the related tutorials before enabling
   InpEnableTrading or InpEnableManagement.
8. The trading and trailing examples refuse live-account operation. Use a demo
   account or Strategy Tester. Do not run two independent EAs on the same chart;
use separate charts for the demo entry and trailing examples.

Notes:
- All stop, target, spread and trailing inputs in this package are POINTS, not pips.
- FtsClosedBarMAEA ignores an existing position or pending order on its symbol,
including positions opened manually or by another EA.
- It uses closed-bar EMA crossings, makes one entry attempt per bar, and does NOT
close/reverse a position on an opposite signal. Stops/targets handle exits.
- A stop-based estimate is not a maximum possible realized loss: fills, gaps,
slippage, commissions and swaps can change the result.
- FtsTrailingDemo changes only positions matching BOTH chart symbol and InpMagic.
- FtsSymbolDiagnostics adds its selected symbol to Market Watch but never trades.
